Red Star Aviation is a unique non-profit Warbird Flying Museum, Consulting Service, and Flight Training & Aircraft Operating environment which is open to the public. Breaking the mold of the commercialization of Warbird flight training, we offer a non-competitive, non-commercial training and aircraft basing alternative for the novice or experienced Warbird pilot. As a non-profit corporation, we are dedicated to one mission only: To save human life by offering the finest quality advice, support, flight training, and operational assistance. No matter if you desire to fly our aircraft for training or sport, have our safety pilots fly with you in your own airplane, or to base and operate your aircraft at our dedicated “Safe-Haven for Warbirds and Warbird Pilots”, we are here to serve YOU. Our Mission Statement:

To constantly strive to increase the level of safety in the Warbird community, and to freely offer our expertise without financial consideration. To preserve our Aviation Heritage by preserving the aircraft of the Cold War Era, and to facilitate their continued operation by ensuring that there are pilots properly qualified to demonstrate them to the public in years to come.. To provide a trusted organization, to whom any operator can feel free to turn, for assistance in any aspect of Warbird Operation. To save human life by performing this mission.

Unless you understand our History, you will not understand why we approach our mission in the way that we do. Our mission statement reflects our sole purpose: To save human life by offering operators and prospective operators the opportunity to obtain advice and assistance from true professionals who offer their assistance freely and without compensation. Read the biographies of the members of our Board of Advisors. There is no other place in the world where the advice of working test pilots, both military and civilian, as well as qualified volunteers from every Warbird community, is offered at no cost.

We are a Non-Profit Organization:

Red Star Aviation Museum is incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation in the State of New Jersey, and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(C)(3) non-profit education institution. Donations to Red Star Aviation Museum Inc. are fully deductible as donations to non-profit under IRS rules.

It is our policy that no pilot will be denied access to our education services based on ability to pay. Further, it is our policy that no Officer of Red Star Aviation will receive any personal compensation for work done to further our mission statement. Naturally, our aircraft need to be maintained, insured, stored, and fuelled. We do ask for donations to offset these costs, as well as donations of conscience should you feel that our educational efforts are worthy of your support. 100% of all donations and revenue generated from our work is used to further our educational outreach programs.

Red Star Aviation is YOU, a participant in the sport of Warbird Operation. We rely on your safe operation of your airplane to further our mission. We rely on your willingness to participate as a safety conscious operator, in order to positively represent our sport to the public. Please help us help you, and help us to help others. Participate in our activities, and be willing to assist others who are joining the hobby. Train with us, and become a better pilot. We rely on your contributions to assist us in performing our work. Help us maintain our location and improve our facility, so that we may have an enjoyable clubhouse and base from which to pursue our sport.
